Constant monitoring of hardness levels is critical in many applications.
Water hardness is easily noticed in laundry applications, where its presence greatly reduces the effectiveness of soaps and detergents.
High levels of hardness in the water supply is also a major industrial concern.
The scaling caused by hard water in pipes and equipment can cause costly loss of efficiency and result in the failure of machinery.
Unlike multi-parameter colorimeters or spectrophotometers, the HI 93725 is very simple to operate: just zero your sample, pour the reagent in the cuvet, and take a direct reading.
