HI 83740
Photometer for the Determination of Copper in Win
HI 83740 is an invaluable instrument for monitoring the presence of copper during the process of wine-making. The advanced optical system of this photometer employs a specialized tungsten lamp and a narrow band interference filter which provides sensitive readings in the range of 0.00 to 0.50 mg/L. With a few simple steps winemakers can quickly and accurately measure copper content in wine. Readings are conveniently displayed directly on the LCD screen in mg/L. This lightweight unit (500 g) runs on (4) 1.5V AA batteries or a 12Vdc power adapter.
