The instrument is equipped with an internal memory in which the operator can record up to 199 samples. HI 93124 can be connected to the PC through the RS232 serial port and the operation is made ​​simple and immediate dall’apposito HI 92000 software (Windows ® compatible).
HI 93124 is designed for measurements of turbidity in accordance with the standard (EBC European Brewery Convention). The instrument works thanks to a beam of light that passes through a cuvette containing the sample to be analyzed. The light source is an infrared LED, can reduce to a minimum any interference due to colored samples. A sensor, positioned at 90 ° to the direction of the incident light, detects the amount of light scattered by particles in suspension in the sample.
