Photometric determination of lead
Photometric determination with dithizone.
At pH 7 to 9 in the presence of cyanide lead(II) ions react with dithizone to form primary lead dithizonate, which is soluble in carbon tetrachloride with high selectivity yielding a pink solution (extraction method).
